The Girls of our senior classes were invited by the Tidy Towns Committee to design posters recently. The posters were to raise awareness of an ongoing issue in Skibbereen town of Dog Poop. There were many giggles at first but the girls of St Joseph’s rose to the challenge and produced very creative posters.

Sandra and Timmy visited us on Thursday on behalf of the Tidy Towns Committee. They thoroughly enjoyed the Fifth and Sixth class play before they presented the winners with book vouchers. Alas, there could only be one winner per class but Sandra and Timmy both agreed that all posters were deserving of a prize as the standard was so good.
